Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday falls on December 3rd this year. Our goal for this giving season is to raise $15,000!
This Giving Tuesday, we are asking people to use their power of generosity to support an important community organization: Nevada Area Council Scouting.
Scouting America teaches youth important personal values through fun activities. Some of the values Scouting teaches its youth are “to help other people at all times” (Scout Oath) and to be “helpful, friendly, courteous, [and] kind” (Scout Law).
The money that we raise will help fund some of the many unique activities we do every year with our Scouts including: Cub Scout Day Camp, the Adventure Hike, and the Council-wide Pinewood Derby Races.
If you are able to donate $75 or more, we will send you a Dropbox link to 18 photos you can use as wallpapers and backgrounds. These photos were taken by Morgan Meidell at Scouting events and other Scouts on their adventures.
If you cannot donate, that’s ok! Instead we ask that you share a story about how Scouting has impacted your life, or the life of someone you know.
